About Me

Hello, my name is Julia Sereda, and I am an aspiring photographer. I am 20 years old an at the moment I'm studying photography at Stroud College. At A-Level I also studied photography and fine art. Surprisingly I incorporate a lot of what I learned in fine art into my photography projects. Fashion photography is what I am most passionate about. I have always been very artistic, I wasn't very good at academic subjects like maths or English but I was okay enough to pass all of my subjects. I am Polish, living in England, its very nice being able to travel between the two, I get different sceneries in both which really helps when I have art block and lack inspiration. Some artists that inspire me are Deborah Tuberville, David Bailey, Lindsey Adler, Viktor and Rolf. I am also very influenced by Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, The Rolling Stones (magazine, not the band haha). I have also been quite interested in Vogue Korea recently. I also take my inspiration form a lot of music artists that I listen to and their songs. Such as Tame impala, Miley Cyrus, The Strokes, Dralms, HONEYMOANS, and many many more. The vibes that I get from their music are amazing and kickstart a lot of my ideas. My models are also my inspiration, without them none of these photos would have happened and I wouldn't be on this amazing journey, so thank you to all of them. Similar to Deborah Tuberville, I look at the atmosphere that my models create. im not interested in whether they are beautiful of skinny, i look at whether they are mysterious, interesting faces, that's what I base my decision off of. I am beyond excited to share this journey with you, hope you enjoy my photos.
